- The FWOA can contact owners who did not get appropriate approval in order to bring them into compliance.
- Do you have to be a FWOA member to vote at the Annual Member Meeting?
- Yes, you have to be a current dues paying member of the FWOA in order to vote at the annual members’ meeting. NOTE: Pool membership is separate from FWOA membership and only current paid pool members are allowed to vote at the annual pool members’ meeting.
- Can I join the pool without joining the FWOA?
- No, FWOA and its property is part of the common property owner by FWOA.
- What happens if someone gets hurt of FWOA property?
- If you are a FWOA member, the FWOA insurance covers you under the FWOA policy.
- What happens if the FWOA doesn’t pay the property taxes?
- A Lien can be put on each individuals homeowner’s property.
- Is there a way that people with expertise can be used by the FWOA?
- Yes, the FWOA runs on volunteers. If you have an interest, contact the current FWOA president to find out about available volunteer opportunities.
- Is there a way Owners can donate to FWOA?
- Yes, the FWOA is a non-profit organization and can accept charitable donations.
- Who do I contact about speeding, suspicious person, parking in the streets, vandalism, etc?
- The FWOA is not a law enforcement organization. Instead, we fall under the Knox County Sheriff’s department as they have designated patrol officers assigned ot the Town of Farragut. The TOF has its own administrative court and handles fines for violations of town statuses and ordinances (some of which overlap with FWOA deed restrictions).
